The Government of Sri Lanka has officially announced the dates for operating the Airport back to normal, According to the department of tourism & hospitality, Sri Lanka is to open its gates from 1st of August 2020 to travelers around the world.
As of March 19, 2020, Sri Lanka was closed with the effect of COVID19, world tourism organization reports that there is a huge loss in the tourism sector as travelers were not allowed to travel to avoid the spread of the virus, and also it announced that Sri Lanka is the best place to travel after COVID with its regulations and precautions took to defeat virus while running the country smoothly.
Sri Lanka is back on track from the 1st of August 2020, and all the tourist are informed that to plan their journey more responsible than before when it comes to the number of days planning to stay, - Book your stay with an extra 2days to undergo the Health and safety test.
